About

Jessica is a dedicated advocate for students, parents, and the community. She believes that every voice deserves to be heard—especially those who have been ignored or shut out. While some current school officers & staff members have shown hostility toward concerned parents and students at meetings, Jessica has consistently shown up, listened, and offered support.

She attends every school board meeting and helps parents navigate the often difficult task of getting in contact with the district. Many parents have shared their frustration with being ignored, and Jessica has become a trusted ally in helping them be heard.

Jessica is a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She provides individual assistance to community members who are struggling with the school staff and administration—helping them access academic services for their children and ensuring they receive crucial documents in their native language.

Jessica also provides translation services for parents who don’t speak English, giving her time freely to ensure that language is never a barrier to involvement. Beyond school matters, she volunteers at St. John of God on Carleton Avenue, offering support to children and assisting with church events.

Though her commitment and visibility have made her unpopular with some current board members, Jessica remains focused on what truly matters: building a stronger, more inclusive, and more responsive school community.
